GEGO tracker relies on a strong connection with the GPS satellites in space to obtain an accurate location. If a tracker is inside a building, or in a trunk of a vehicle, it will typically fail to get any GPS signal.

In some cases, however, the tracker won't completely lose its GPS signal, but the signal will be weakened. For example, a tracker in a vehicle that's under a tree may have a hard time fully picking up an accurate location.

In these situations, you may experience what is known as GPS Drift.

With a strong signal, GPS positions are typically accurate within 15-20 feet, but if there are obstructions that are causing a weak signal, the position can be off by as much as 200 feet. 

If your tracker is fully obstructed, you will have no updated positions on your map and you will likely see this error message on your account: "Tracker doesn't have GPS signal. You may need to reposition."

💡  Please Note: If your device is inside a building or parking garage, the above message is normal. As soon as your device leaves the location, it will regain GPS signal and normal tracking will resume.

If you choose to receive notifications , GEGO will automatically let you know when it is disturbed or moves in or out of safe locations. You can define “safe zone” such as school, work, gym, etc. manually or let GEGO suggest frequently visited spots and set them as safe zones in the app.

Enter the GEGO App.Click on the MY ACCOUNT icon on the upper left corner of the main screen. Then click on the Manage safe locations sectionYou can edit or eliminate safe locations from there.

Enter the GEGO APP and choose the device you want to modify.
In the right upper corner choose the Edit option. You can modify your GEGO username and picture.

Flight Mode : Ideal for short or long flights . Optimized to report location faster when luggage arrives at a new airport. All the lights will turn OFF.

Standard: Ideal for your car, backpack or other belongings. "GEGO reports its location and notifies when it moves in or out of safe locations. 

Battery saver mode: Best for long drives, package tracking or long usages. GEGO reports its location less frequently when is not moving , to extend battery life. Lights will turn off.

Our primary shipping service in the United States is, DHL e-commerce. This service takes approximately  3-5 business days, regardless of where you are located within the continental United States (our primary warehouse is located in Miami area, FL).
