Subscriptions Terms of Use

GEGO provides a subscription service to activate its global tracking technology. To locate your GEGO Device, Location requests are made through our Smart Device Application. Subscriptions are available to you for purchase through GEGO Application in different packages. 

GEGO technologies include a GSM SIM card as part of its design features. This SIM card allows the Device to communicate with different networks around the world, providing state-of-the-art location tracking technology. This SIM card has a cost to maintain the service.
These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. As used in these Terms of Use, "GEGO service", "our service" or "the service" means the service provided by GEGO for tracking GEGO devices, including all features and functionalities, the website, App and user interfaces.

Subscription
Each GEGO device requires a plan or subscription to activate the global tracking technology. Your GEGO subscription will continue month-to-month until terminated. To use the GEGO service you must have Internet access and a GEGO device, and provide a current, valid, accepted method of payment, which you may update from time to time ("Payment Method").  Unless you cancel your subscription before your monthly or yearly billing date, you authorize us to charge your next month's subscription fee to your Payment Method (see "Cancellation" below).

Free Trials
Your GEGO subscription starts with a free trial. The free trial period of your subscription is intended to allow new members to try the service. Customers are eligible for one free trial per GEGO device.

Free trial eligibility is determined by GEGO at its sole discretion and we may limit eligibility to prevent free trial abuse. We reserve the right to revoke the free trial and put your account on hold in the event that we determine that you are not eligible. Members of households with an existing or recent GEGO subscription are not eligible. We may use information such as device ID, method of payment or an account email address used with an existing or recent GEGO subscription to determine eligibility. For combinations with other offers, restrictions may apply.

We will charge your Payment Method for your monthly or yearly subscription fee at the end of the free trial period unless you cancel your membership prior to the end of the free trial period. To view the monthly or yearly subscription price and end date of your free trial period, visit GEGO App.


Billing
The subscription fee for the GEGO service and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the service, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, will be charged on a monthly or yearly basis to your Payment Method on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of the paying portion of your subscription. In some cases, your payment date may change, for example, if your Payment Method has not successfully settled or if your paid subscription began on a day not contained in a given month.

Payment Methods
You can change your Payment Method by contacting our Support team at support@gego.io. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not change your Payment Method or cancel your account, we may suspend your access to the service until we have obtained a valid Payment Method. When you update your Payment Method, you authorize us to continue charging the updated Payment Method and you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. This may result in a change to your payment dates. For some Payment Methods, the issuer may charge you certain fees, such as foreign transaction fees or other fees relating to the processing of your Payment Method. Local tax charges may vary depending on the Payment Method used. Check with your Payment Method service provider for details.

Cancellation
Suspend or cancel the Service

You can suspend your subscription to the Service at any time, by following the suspension instructions in the GEGO App. You can reinstate your subscription to the Service at any time by following the instructions in the GEGO App.  Upon the suspension of any Service plan, $ 0.90 p/month will be charged to your credit card to keep active the SIM card in your GEGO Device. This monthly charge will remain in effect until a new Service plan is subscribed by you or you cancel definitively the Service by sending a cancellation notice to support@gego.io. Please note that once the Service is cancelled, the SIM card will be permanently deactivated, and a new device will be required if you decide to return in the future. Please allow 3 business days prior to the end of your current subscription period to cancel your subscription to the Service, to avoid being charged for the subsequent subscription period. All payments made for your subscription to the Service are non-refundable, unless otherwise noted in the GEGO 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. You have the option to switch from a 2-year or annual plan to monthly subscription plan, and vice versa, by sending an email to support@gego.io.  Note that the price of your subscription to the Service will change according to the subscription plan rates offered by the Company, at the time of your subscription plan modification.  Any changes to your subscription plan will not take effect until the following subscription period. The Company reserves the right to modify the price of your subscription to the Service at any time. The Company reserves the right to suspend your subscription to the Service, if the Company is unable to process the subscription renewal charge on your credit card. 

Changes to the Price and Service Plans. We may change our service plans and the price of our service from time to time; however, any price changes or changes to our service plans will apply to you no earlier than 30 days following notice to you.
NOTE: You must be 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your province, territory or country, to become a member of the GEGO service. Minors may only use the service under 

Activation Codes

When you purchase a membership from our webshop, you will receive an email containing your activation code to apply to your GEGO tracker. The email will have the subject line: “GEGO: Your Activation Code.”

By activating your membership, you acknowledge and agree that the plan will automatically renew upon expiration, using the same payment method provided at the time of purchase. This ensures uninterrupted service for your GEGO tracker.

If you wish to cancel your membership and prevent automatic renewal, you must send a written cancellation request to support@gego.io before the renewal date. Cancellation requests received after the renewal date will apply to the following billing cycle.

Important: Activation codes must be redeemed within one (1) year from the purchase date. Unused codes will automatically expire and cannot be redeemed after this period.

By activating your prepaid service, you agree that the plan will automatically renew upon expiration, using the same payment method initially provided. This ensures uninterrupted service for your GEGO device.
If you wish to cancel your prepaid plan and prevent renewal, you must send a written cancellation notice to support@gego.io before the renewal date. Cancellations received after the renewal date will apply to the next billing cycle.

Miscellaneous
Governing Law. These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

Electronic Communications. We will send you information relating to your account (e.g. payment authorizations, invoices, changes in password or Payment Method, confirmation messages, notices) in electronic form only, for example via emails to your email address provided during registration.
